Matt Damon in The Bourne Ultimatum

Empire Online has announced it has recently held talks with actor Matt Damon for a possible third "Bourne" film, The Bourne Ultimatum.

The actor has confirmed that he is interested in the project as long as the script is up to scratch, if it gets the go-ahead, shooting is expected to begin in 18 months' time.

The book by Robert Ludlum, "The Bourne Ultimatum" originally brought us Jason Bourne, who will finally face his biggest enemy, Carlos the Jackal in the upcoming film.
