Madonna Loves New York

Madonna has announced she is paying tribute to the city of New York, with a song called I Love New York on her next album.

The 46 year-old singer, who has already written the song, left home in Michigan in the 80s to pursue her life of stardom in New York.

The star worked with French producer Français Mirwais on the upcoming album, who had previously worked with her on American Life and Music .

No release date has yet been announced.
