George Lucas is planning to re-release his Star Wars films in 3D. The director, whose latest blockbuster, Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith is set for release on May 19th, is hoping the films will be ready for the 30th anniversary of the original in 2007, so he can launch one film per year after the anniversary. Lucas and 20th Century Fox previewed the first 6 minutes of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith on Thursday, creating a buzz around the excitement of the upcoming film. "It's not like the first one. It's more emotional. I describe it as a 'Titanic' in space. It's a real tearjerker, and it will be received in a way that none of us can expect," said Lucas.
