Eddie Murphy to Play Johnny Blaze

Eddie Murphy is set to take the lead role in Johnny Blaze, an action comedy for Steven Spielberg's company Dreamworks.  He will play a retired rapper working undercover in the world of hip-hop, who solves crimes to the beat on the street.

Brian Grazer The Nutty Professor and The Nutty Professor 2, will be producing the film.

Murphy is starting work soon start work on Shrek 3, as the voice of the donkey.
