Bono has composed a song for the new Spice Girls album. The singer of the group U2 wrote a song, which is still untitled, for the reuniting girl group. Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell will be singing this song during their fourth world tour. The record company was concerned about sales for the Greatest Hits album, which will be released next month. They presumed that Bono's collaboration would help record sales. A source told the Daily Mirror, "It might seem unusual with the Spice Girls' pop roots and the much rockier work of Bono, but it works." Bono is not the first star to collaborate with the Spice Girls since their comeback. Last month, there was an announcement that George Michael would be writing a Christmas song for them. The Spice Girls tour will be beginning on December 7 in Los Angeles. |
