Britney Spears' lawyer explained the reasons that pushed the judge to rule that Spears loses temporary custody of her children. Spears' lawyer told People that she lost custody of her children because Kevin Federline accused her of not doing the tests that were ordered that would check for drugs and alcohol, and that she did not prove that she had a valid driver's license. After the court hearing, the judge ordered that Federline will have temporary custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. The judge did not explain his decision but Spears' lawyer stated, "We weren't able to prove compliance with what the judge ordered. Specifically, the judge ordered that by 10 a.M. (Monday) morning, both parties show valid California driving licenses. I've been unable to produce evidence of that." Spears did do the steps necessary to reinstate her driver's license at the end of the day Monday. She received a valid license yesterday. Spears' lawyer is convinced she will gain custody of her children very soon. |
