| John Cho (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle) and Simon Pegg (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead), will be playing Sulu and Scotty in the next Star Trek movie. In this next movie in the Star Trek franchise, Eric Bana will be playing the villain, Zoe Saldana will be Uhura, Anton Yelchin will play Chekov, and Zachary Quinto will play Spock. Leonard Nimoy, who played the original Spock, will also form part of the cast. Chris Pine is in talks to play Kirk. The movie will be directed by J.J. Abrams for Paramount Pictures. Details of the storyline are not being revealed, but they have stated that it will show the enterprise team at the very beginning. Filming will begin in November and should be finished by March. |
