The actor, who sang for the group 30 Odd Foot of Grunts alongside his acting career, has posted a message on his website, "My band would seem to have dissolved." The star admits that he's happy to have the opportunity to pursue a solo career in music, writing "I can now enjoy writing unrestricted, talking from my heart and my mind." He says that he is very satisfied with his first CD, Raewyn, which will be released on internet site iTunes on April 19. The actor, who sings and plays guitar on the record has confessed that he is behind in his work on his next film, Eucalyptus, because he was allowing himself time to concentrate on his music career. He is very proud of the upcoming release, adding "It is without doubt the most satisfying record I've ever made, and I know when you hear it you will be seduced by its beauty." |
