Dashing all hopes of a reconciliation, Jennifer Aniston filed papers last Friday to divorce her husband, Brad Pitt. Dated just two and a half months after their separation, the court papers cite irreconcilable differences, but do not mention a specific reason for the end of the marriage. The couple met in 1998, and married in July 2000 in a star-studded ceremony on Malibu beach, California. After nearly 5 years of marriage, they announced their decision to end their relationship in January. They will remain business partners in their film production company, Plan B, and will release their first film later this year, the much awaited Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, starring Johnny Depp. |
