Amy Winehouse has vowed to carry on drinking. The 'Rehab' singer - who was hospitalised in August after a drugs overdose - insists life is "too short" for her to amend her hellraising ways.
She said: "Life's short - just do it. I've made a lot of mistakes. I always say I don't regret things and I don't say sorry, but I do really. I believe strongly in fate. I believe that everything happens for a reason."
The troubled 24-year-old singer - who was arrested last week for possession of cannabis in Norway - admits she drinks to overcome her insecurities. Amy - who is famed for her beehive hairstyle - reveals on her new DVD documentary 'I Told You I Was Trouble': "I'm quite an insecure person. I'm very insecure about the way I look. I mean, I'm a musician I'm not a model. The more insecure I feel, the more I drink. And to Tracey Trash, who does my hair, I'd be like, 'Bigger! Bigger!' - like the more insecure I feel, the bigger my hair has to be."
Amy - whose marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil is said to be on the rocks - admits she was out of control when she overdosed on a mix of heroin, ketamine, cocaine and ecstasy in the summer. She revealed: "I was just doing one destructive thing after the other. I was quite self-destructive." |
