Filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan (Signs, The Sixth Sense) has started looking for his leading lady in his next film, The Lady in the Water, which will follow the story of a building contractor who finds a sea nymph living in a swimming pool. Shyamalan is interested in Bryce Dallas Howard (The Village) for the lead, with Paul Giamatti for the part of the building superintendant. Giamatti will be back on the big screen soon in Cinderella Man with Russell Crowe and Renee Zellwegger. Bryce Dallas Howard can be seen soon in the film Manderlay. The Lady in the Water is scheduled for release at the end of July, 2006. Filming begins in August. |
