Elton John Plans Another Musical

Elton John is planning another Broadway musical.

The singer has teamed up with partner, lyricist Bernie Taupin, to create a stage adaptation of two Anne Rice novels, Interview with the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat.

Entitled Lestat, the new musical will be shown for the first time in San Francisco at the Curran Theater, before making its Broadway debut in the spring of 2006.

John's most recent stage production, Billy Elliott, is opening in London later this year.
