The Good German, a romance-suspense film set during the second World War, has attracted the attention of George Clooney and Cate Blanchett. If negotiations go well, Clooney will play an American journalist sent to cover the war in Germany, who's secret hopes to find love are dashed when he finds himself in the middle of a murder mystery. Clooney is co-producing the film with Steven Soderbergh, who will direct, making it the fifth time the duo have worked together. Blanchett is also in negotiations to play Clooney's love interest. |
