American talk-show hostess Oprah Winfrey has given a $5,000 gift to every one the 100 employees at her magazine O. According to the New York Post, the star gave the gifts at a party on Sunday, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the publication. Winfrey also made sure that the gift did not come with a tax bill. Last year, the host gave away 276 cars on her talk-show, to excited audience members, who were thrilled... until they learned they'd be responsible for the $7,000 in taxes to the government. |
