Natalie Portman has joined the cast of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, , which is set to be direceted by Zach Helm. Helm wrote the original screenplay, and calls it a cross between Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Big. Portman will play a manager of a toy store which seems to come to life, thanks to the eccentric personality of its owner. When he becomes ill, he tries to give the shop to the manager, but its magic seems to be fading along with his health. Portman will start the film after she finishes work on Goya's Ghosts, and can be seen soon in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith on May 19th. |
