David Duchovny looks set to star in the film The Secret, which is being directed by Vincent Perez in the streets of Montreal. The Secret is based on a Japanese book by Keigo Higashino, who already did his own screen adaptation in Japan in 1999. The thriller is the story of a man who's life changes when his wife's spirit moves into his daughter's body after she wife is killed in an accident. Apart from Duchovny, who will play the father, other stars confirmed for the project include Lili Taylor (The Haunting) who will play the mother, and Olivia J. Thirlby, who will make her cinema debut as their daughter. It will be the second time French actor Vincent Perez has directed a full-length film, his first was Peau d'Ange in 2002. |
