David and Victoria Beckham have finally reached an agreement with their former nanny, to stop her from talking to the media about the couple's private life. The High Court accepted an agreement between the Beckham couple and Abbie Gibson, which prevents her from discussing the case furher, while waiting for the court to decide the outcome of their upcoming legal battle. A lawsuit was filed after the nanny was interviewed by the News of the World, during which she lifted the lid on the Beckhams' marriage problems. Abbie Gibson, 27, worked for two years with the Beckham family in Madrid. As part of her contract, she had to sign an agreement barring her from discussing private matters of the Beckham household, even after she had left her job. Speculation is rife over whether a victory for Gibson will open the floodgates for former employees to others stars, currently gagged with confidentiality clauses, to speak out about their working conditions and treatment. |
