George Clooney has confirmed he is going to star in the independent suspense movie Michael Clayton, to be written and directed by The Bourne Supremacy director, Tony Gilroy. Clooney will play a New York lawyer who is known as "the janitor" because he has spent the last 15 years cleaning up his clients' messy secrets, and takes place over the four worst days of his career. Principal photography for the film is scheduled to begin in New York in January. Section Eight, the company owned by Clooney and Steven Soderbergh, along with Samuels Media, Mirage Enterprises and Castle Rock Entertainment will co-produce the project. |
