Former child star Macaulay Culkin took the stand yesterday at the Michael Jackson trial in Santa Maria, California. The 24 year-old star of the Home Alone films is a friend of the singer, who has been accused of sexual misconduct with a minor. Culkin has said that the singer never abused him, and that the accusations against Jackson were ridiculous. Culkin's friendship with Jackson began in the early 1990s, and he has openly admitted to sleeping in the same room as Jackson, although he insists that no sexual abuse took place. Michael Jackson, 46, has been accused of molesting a 13 year-old boy in February and March of 2003. Faces up to 20 years in prison. |
