Foxx and Usher to be Dreamgirls

DreamWorks has asked Jamie Foxx and Usher to join Beyonce Knowles in Dreamgirls, to be directed by Bill Condon.

The studio has also signed Eddie Murphy for the role of singer James "Thunder" Early. Foxx will play the part of his agent, with Usher as his choreographer.

Filming is set to begin in January in Los Angeles.
