Antonio Banderas to Direct Again

Antonio Banderas is to turn his hand to directing again, with a Spanish film set during the Franco era.

The actor, who made his directorial debut with the comedy Crazy in Alabama, will direct the film in his native language, Spanish.

The film follows the story of a group of young Spanish kids coming of age during Franco's reign, just as Banderas did.  Franco and his fascist regime ruled Spain from 1933 until his death in 1975.
