The first images of the much awaited film The Da Vinci Code, starring Tom Hanks, has been released. The movie, inspired by the best-selling book by Dan Brown, is being directed by Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind, American Graffiti, Appolo 13), and is scheduled for world-wide release on May 19, 2006. In addition to Tom Hanks, the cast also includes Audrey Tautou (Amelie), Ian McKellen, Alfred Molina and Jean Reno, who will begin shooting in Paris later this year. The Da Vinci Code is the story of a Harvard symbology professor who finds himself in the middle of a murder mystery, which only he can solve using his decoding skills. |
