The 'Leatherheads' star was devastated when pet Max died two years ago, and admits he still finds it difficult not having the animal in his house.
He said: "Max was as old a pig as the vet had ever seen. He was a big part of my life for years. In fact, 2006 was a bad year for my pets. I also had a Bulldog that died that year too. It's strange how animals become part of your family.
"I won't get another pig. I think Max covered all my pig needs. It's strange not having him sitting on the carpet in the house - sad, actually. He got me in a lot of trouble though, that pig. He scared the hell out of a lot of delivery people too!"
George also said he finds it tough to stay in his Italian villa which has 14 bedrooms, and never sleeps in the master bedroom.
He said: "It's too big, just too big. I've never quite managed to spend a night in the grand boudoir, so I sleep in one of the other 14 bedrooms whenever I'm there." |
