Rock royalty Paul McCartney has started a new career, as a children's author. Following in Madonna's footsteps, the former Beatle has published a book, entitled High in the Clouds: An Urban Furry Tail. McCartney worked on the project with veteran children's writer Philip Ardagh. "Having worked on this story and the characters for many years, it's very exciting for me to see things come to fruition in what I think will be a remarkable book," McCartney said in a statement. The book was inspired by the animated film Tropic Island Hum, which McCartney was also involved in, which tells the story of a squirrel and a frog who save the lives of many other animals. The book will be in stores in October. |
