Madonna Launching Perfume

Madonna has started creating her own fragrance. Fans should be able to purchase bottles of Madonna by Christmas, after the singer was paid a reported $9.5 million to lend her name to the scent.

The perfume has been timed for release at the same time as her next CD, Defying Gravity, in November.

The Material Girl joins the likes of singers Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears who have also launched their own perfumes recently.
