Tom Jones says fellow Welsh singer Duffy is at the top of his list to do a duet on his new album. Tom Jones would love to sing with Duffy. The 68-year-old star says fellow Welsh singer Duffy is top of his list for his new duets album. When asked who he'd like to work with he immediately named Duffy, saying: "Because she's Welsh and she can sing. Not just because she is Welsh. I'd like to do something with her, she's something special." Duffy - who had a UK number one hit with her song 'Mercy' - is currently touring promoting her debut album 'Rockferry' in the US. The 24-year-old blonde has laughed off rumours the 'Delilah' singing legend is her real father. She said: "I'm dealing with this every day. It's kind of bizarre. You've got to laugh." Tom made a very successful comeback in 1999 with his covers and duets album 'Reload'. He teamed up with a string of Welsh stars including former Catatonia singer Cerys Matthews, Kelly Jones from the Stereophonics and James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers. |
