20th Century Fox and Marvel Entertainment have chosen Brett Ratner to replace Matthew Vaughn as the director of the film X-Men 3. Filming is scheduled to begin in August, and the movie is expected on our screens in May, 2006. Ratner, an avid comic fan, was given the job, although rumours were circulating that Bryan Singer would be hired instead. In the third X-Men film, Kelsey Grammer returns in the role of Beast, Vinnie Jones plays Juggernaut and Maggie Grace is Kitty Pryde (also known as Shadowcat). Ratner has also directed both Rush Hour films. |
