Russell Crowe Arrested

New York police have arrested Australian actor Russell Crowe for throwing a telephone at a hotel employee.

According to the BBC, the man was struck in the face by the telephone at the Mercer Hotel.

Police arrested the actor and charged him with second degree assault, and Crowe is expected to be in court in Monday.

The actor can currently be seen in the film Cinderella Man with Renee Zellweger, which came in fourth at American box-offices last weekend.
