Sir Paul McCartney is set to buy a new US apartment to be nearer to his girlfriend Nancy Shevell, it has been claimed.

The Beatles legend, who has been dating millionairess Nancy Shevell since last year, has been looking at properties in New York's prestigious Upper East Side - where Nancy currently lives.
The 66-year-old musician already has a property on West 54th Street, which he has owned since the 80s. Paul often stayed in the apartment with his ex-wife Heather Mills.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "He has been looking at eight-figure apartments. I think he just wants to rid himself of the Heather factor."
Paul is said to be unhappy with his current property because the nearby Museum of Modern Art recently added a glass facade which gives visitors a clear view into his home.
Paul and Nancy, 47, have been inseparable recently.
They enjoyed a road trip across the US on the famous Route 66 last month. The couple also went to Antigua for a romantic break in April. |
