Eddie Murphy Joins Beyoncé, Usher and Jamie Foxx

Eddie Murphy will be joining Beyoncé Knowles, Usher and Jamie Foxx in the movie Dreamgirls, an adaptation of a musical telling the story of a aspiring female trio, The Dreamettes.

Murphy will play the part of "Thunder" Early, a star that hires the three girls as backing singers.

This film will be directed by Bill Condon (Kinsey, Gods and Monsters, Chicago), and will be released in January 2006.
