Ben Stiller has started work on a new film entitled The Mirror, a comedy about a star who awakes one day to find his mirror image is passing himself off as the original. The script by Scott Smith includes roles for Stiller's wife, Christine Taylor, Owen Wilson, and Angelina Jolie, who will play an irresistable sex goddess. In the film, the actor soon realises that everyone, including his own family, prefers his mirror image over himself. "My initial inspiration came from a friend who was trying to become more authentic by stripping away her social persona, only to discover that the world wanted the more fake version of herself," said Smith. |
