Hip-hop star 50 Cent has set up 10 scholarships to a New York College. The rapper has signed papers with Queensborough Community College in New York, to allow 10 students to continue their education free of charge. 50 Cent, who never attended college, will give 8 scholarships to students from his old school, Campus Magnet High Schools, and one to a student at each of the neighboring schools, Springfield Gardens and Hillcrest High School. The winners of the scholarships, who will be announced on July 15th, will be chosen after completeting a 500 word essay. |
