Robert DeNiro and Meryl Streep have been cast in the upcoming film First Man for Walt Disney Pictures. The film was written by Diane English, who is also making her directorial debut on the project, which is set to begin next year. DeNiro will play a businessman who abandons his career, to support his wife (Streep)'s presedential campaign. Streep has worked on several projects recently, including The Devil Wears Prada and Prairie Home Companion, while DeNiro is to direct The Good Shepherd. The two big stars have worked together in the past in The Deer Hunter, Falling in Love and Marvin's Room. |
