The US singer debuted latest single 'If I Were A Boy', from her upcoming album 'I Am... Sasha Fierce', at the MTV Europe Music Awards last week and admits she was nervous her fans wouldn't like it. The 27-year-old star said: "It was great because it was the first time performing 'If I Were a Boy' for an audience. Because I usually come up with up-tempo tracks it could have worked out a little strange, but it came out really well on stage, so I was really happy." Beyonce has also revealed her new two-disc album is inspired by her on stage alter-ego 'Sasha Fierce'. She added to Britain's Radio 1: "The record comes in two discs - the first one is all me - with no make-up, no wind blowing my hair, it's just bare me. "The second disc is for the fans, and that's where I get to live out all my fantasies through Sasha. But she's way too high maintenance to talk to, she won't do interviews!" |
