'Walk the Line' star Joaquin Phoenix is shooting a documentary about his transition from actor to musician.

The star - who recently announced he will be quitting the movie industry - is believed to be filming his career move into music.
Joaquin was at Hollywood night spot Bardot at midnight on Monday (17.11.08) with a camera crew.
A source said: "He was filming a documentary of his transition from acting to music."
Joaquin - who was nominated for an Oscar for his role as country singer Johnny Cash in the 2005 movie 'Walk the Line' - revealed last month he has decided to focus on making music.
He said: "I want to take this opportunity to give you the exclusive. 'Two Lovers' will be my last performance as an actor. I'm not doing films anymore. I'm working on my music. I'm done. I've been through that."
Joaquin is currently working on a record with Tim Burgess, the lead singer of British band The Charlatans. |
