The organisers of the Live 8 concerts have announced that they are adding three new cities to the show. Toronto, Johannesburg and Tokyo will all be holding concerts on July 2nd. Bob Geldof has officially added these three sites to the list of host cities which already includes London, Philadelphia, Paris, Rome, Berlin and a site in Cornwall for the planned Africa Calling concert. The free concerts are being held to raise awareness of African hardship, specifically to prelude the G8 Summit, being held in Scotland. The lineups for the new venues have not yet been announced. |
