Batman Begins Earns $15.1 Million

The Warner Bros. film Batman Begins earned $15.1 million in North America in just one day, on Wednesday.

The movie, which opened the same day, is now the most successful film in cinematic history to open mid-week.

Batman Begins tells the story of how the legendary Batman came to be, and how he came to fight crime in Gotham City.
