Actress/singer Hilary Duff denies lap dance and engagement rumours and wishes the media would focus on her acting career rather than her private life.
Hilary Duff does not perform lap dances.
The singer-and-actress admits she was shocked when she was told she had apparently been seductively gyrating for her ice hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie in a busy nightclub.
She said: "I mean, little ol' me? It's shocking. People love to believe it - but it's not true. And they're so descriptive about these lap dances. I don't even know how to do a lap dance!"
The 'Lizzie McGuire' star also insists wedding bells are not yet on the horizon for her and Mike.
She continued: "I'm a relationship person. Now it's all over the internet that I'm getting engaged to my boyfriend. The truth is, I just like to wear rings."
This is not the first time Hilary has complained about the attention surrounding her private life.
She recently said: "Everybody makes mistakes, but I just don't think it's for everybody to watch. It comes down to that I want people to focus on my work and I want to have my life completely separate from that." |
