Actress and Estee Lauder spokesmodel Elizabeth Hurley has recently been named "Babe of the Century'' in a poll for IGN For Men magazine.
The British beauty's reaction was to comment on a previous winner, the late Marilyn Monroe. Hurley said that the screen legend was overweight, because she peaked at a dress size 16: "I've always thought Marilyn Monroe looked fabulous, but I'd kill myself if I was that fat,'' Hurley told Allure magazine. "I went to see her clothes in the exhibition, and I wanted to take a tape measure and measure what her hips were. She was very big."
Women over a size 12 all over the world are expected to be outraged by the comment, which comes just as Hurley is launching a line of swimwear. |
