Cate Blanchett as Elizabeth again

Cate Blanchett has accepted the part of Elizabeth for a new film, a role she took for the first time in 1998.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Blanchett is taking the part of Elizabeth I in Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

The actress will co-star with Clive Owen as Sir Walter Raleigh in the epic drama, to be directed by Shekhar Kapur.
