Nick Carter, of Backstreet Boys fame, has been sentenced to three months in an alcohol treatment program for drunk driving. The 25 year-old singer pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, in an Orange County courthouse. The star was also fined $1200, and will be on probabtion for three years. In addition, he will not be able to drive for the next three months. Carter was stopped on March 5th in Huntington Beach, with a level of alcohol higher that the 0.08 safe driving level for the State. |
