| Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures have hired David Fincher to direct Zodiac, starring Mark Ruffalo, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. Fincher (Panic Room) is currently in pre-production for Zodiac, which will also star Robert Downey, Jr., Jake Gyllenhaal and Anthony Edwards. Filming is set to begin in September in San Francisco. The director will also begin work on The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in October, 2006. Pitt and Blanchett are currently working together in Babel. Button will will be the third collaboration between Fincher and Pitt, they have previously worked together on Seven and Fight Club. |
