The mother of Liam and Noel Gallagher is convinced Oasis will reunite because her sons love each other so much.

The mother of Liam and Noel denies the band has broken up for good, insisting her sons love each other so much they'll reunite before long.
She told Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Liam adores Noel. They do love each other, but they've always been very different. The funny thing is, they didn't fight as children. They didn't fight until they started the band.
"I hope this isn't the end of Oasis. I don't think it is. They're just tired at the end of the tour. They've had fights before and got over it."
Songwriter Noel, 42, quit the band on Friday night (28.08.09), minutes before the group was due on stage at Paris' Rock en Seine festival.
Liam, 36, reportedly smashed Noel's guitar while screaming, "You're no brother of mine!"
Noel later released a statement announcing he has left the band.
Creation Records executive Alan McGee - who discovered Oasis in 1993 - also thinks the spat will blow over.
He predicted: "They won't talk for a while. They'll take two years out and hopefully they'll be fine."
But Noel posted a second statement on the official Oasis website last night (29.08.09), insisting he will never return to the group.
It read: "The details are not important and of too great a number to list. But I feel you have the right to know that the level of verbal and violent intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable.
"And the lack of support and understanding from my management and band mates has left me with no other option than to seek new pastures."
He also apologised to the people who had purchased tickets to the cancelled Paris show, before thanking fans for supporting him for the past 18 years.
He added: "Now, if you'll excuse me I have a family and a football team to indulge. I'll see you somewhere down the road. It's been a pleasure. Goodbye. NG." |
