Jennifer Garner's home town of Charleston, Virginia, has organised a baby shower for the mum to be and her new husband, actor Ben Affleck. Thousands of gift-bearing fans turned out on Saturday at a minor league baseball game for a "Jenn and Ben Baby Shower Night". The event was organised for charity, in honour of the parents-to-be. More than 4,200 people brought presents, which were then donated to a non-profit group supporting families of children under the age of 8. Though Garner and Affleck did not attend the game, fans with the name "Jennifer", and those bringing gifts were admitted free of charge. Garner, 33, and Affleck, 32, were married last month. |
