The German paper Berliner Morgenpost confirmed that the Jackson family is helping in the search for a building site near Berlin. Joe Jackson, Michael's father, said: "Michael is a huge fan of Germany and is totally in love with the city." "It meant a lot to us that German fans even turned up during the court case to offer their support. That is something we will not forget." According to the family representative, Shawn Andrews, Michael is anxious to make a new start after being found innocent in his trial.
