The Californian trio Green Day has received eight nominations, and are a favorite to win at the MTV Music Awards. The punk rock group was given six nominations for their album Boulevard of Broken Dreams and two for the single American Idiot. Missy Elliot and Gwen Stefani each received six nominations, and Irish rockers U2 received five. The MTV Music Awards will be presented on August 28th in Miami, hosted by P. Diddy. |
