American actress Julia Roberts is making her Broadway debut in the drama Three Days of Rain. According to the New York Times, the 37 year-old star is taking her first job since the birth of her twins, acting on stage in a 12-week run, beginning in March. "By the time I get there, I'll be entirely apoplectic. But the terror is part of the excitement," Roberts told the New York Times. Three Days of Rain has two acts set 35 years apart. The actors play children in the first act, and parents in the second. "I love its complications. I love the opportunity to get to play someone in contemporary times and then play the mother 30 years earlier.", said Roberts. |
