Gere to Star in The Flock

Richard Gere has signed a contract to star in The Flock, the first English language film from director Andrew Lau (Infernal Affairs).

The story follows a hyper-vigilant federal agent who, while training his young female replacement, must solve a case connected with a paroled sex offender.

The screenplay was written by Hans Bauer (Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid) and Craig Mitchell (Highwaymen).

The film will be released in the fall of 2006.
