Brit boy Robbie Williams could be set to take part in a remake of the film Saturday Night Fever.
According to the Daily Star, Robin and Barry Gibb, the two surviving Bee Gees are putting up their own money to finance the project, and would love Williams to take the role of Tony Manero, which was played by John Travolta in the 1977 original.
A source commented that tha Gibb brothers "have always wanted to do a modern remake," adding "Robbie would make a perfect Tony. He can sing and dance, he's good looking and has plenty of charisma."
Williams will release his sixth album next month. |
