American actor Matt Damon still believes in the talent of his close friend, Ben Affleck, despite his recent box-office flops. According to Damon, Affleck should be back on his feet with the release of the movie Truth, Justice and the American Way. Damon and Affleck have been friends for a long time, and Damon has recently said that he believes things will pick up for his friend with the film, whic is set for release in 2006. He says, "He just did Truth, Justice and The American Way. He's going to be great. People forget that he's a terrific actor, and maybe through some fault of his own, he hasn't made the best choices in the last couple of years. When this movie comes out and it's great, everyone will be like, 'It's a comeback.'" The two friends grew up in Massachusetts, and made their debut in Good Will Hunting, which they also co-wrote. |
